Staff Profiles › Mark Anderson

Mark is the newest member of the firm. He joins Schmitz & Schmidt after 10 years as a private attorney. His practice centers on elder law, including estate, disability, and medical assistance planning. He works to provide a comprehensive plan for the personal and financial security of every client by addressing a broad spectrum of legal issues.

Prior to practicing law, Mark spent nearly 15 years designing and building health care facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. It is there he was first exposed to, and became interested in many of the challenges faced by the elderly in our society.

Mark lectures to groups and organizations on such topics as estate planning, planning for disability, and medical assistance planning.
